Project Highlights:
Atlantic Subsurface Imaging performed Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) scanning of a proposed laundry room in Park Town Towers to locate all utilities in the slab prior to core drilling. The drilling was performed to make way for the plumbing of the laundry room facilities. Unfortunately, there were numerous high-voltage lines running through and directly under the slab because the room below contained all the electrical equipment for the entire building. As a double check to the radar, Atlantic also used conventional radio detection to locate the live electrical lines.
