Project Highlights:
Atlantic Subsurface Imaging performed Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) scanning of The Lawrenceville School campus. This was done to create a detailed map of all the underground utilities that serve the campus. This was a major project that lasted for several months. First, all utilities had to be located with ground penetrating radar. The utilities Atlantic located were water, chilled water, hot water, electric, gas, fiber optic, telephone, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and steam. After locating the utilities, Atlantic had to do a full survey of its findings. This data was then added as separate layers to an existing CAD file supplied by The Lawrenceville School. Unfortunately, the file supplied to Atlantic was in poor shape, so countless extra hours were taken to clean it up. At the conclusion of the project, a detailed CAD file was provided to the customer to use as a reference for any future excavating of the campus grounds or for when changes must be made to the existing infrastructure.
