Project Highlights:
Atlantic Subsurface Imaging performed Radio Detection (RD) scanning of a barriar wall along the side of the Rt. 1 bridge between Trenton, NJ and Morrisville, PA to map the location of the electrical conduit that runs the length of the wall. The conduit must be located prior to drilling holes for anchor bolts so as not to drill through the conduit. Because the concrete barriar was freshly poured, the water content of the barrier wall was too high to use Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), so Atlantic used an RD4000 Radio Detection unit to trace the wire that ran through the conduit.
