Atlantic Subsurface Imaging performed Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) scanning in the Food Emporium at the base of the Trump Palace Condominiums to verify that the 60 proposed core drilling locations would not intersect with utilities hidden in the floors and walls. Because much of the floor had terrazzo tiles that contained a wire mesh that interfered with the radar, Atlantic had to scan the floors from the underside of the slab. This, unfortunately, involved climbing on top of steam lines in the basement of the Trump Palace, marking a clear spot, and then transferring the location to the topside of the slab. Core drilling was performed by our sister company, Atlantic Concrete Cutting.
